When, how and why did you get started with us?
After training on my own for a few years I wanted to learn the snatch and clean and so I started with the Saturday morning Olympic lifting classes in 2019. When things opened up after COVID I tried the Crossfit classes and was hooked.
What would be your dream workout?
Any combination of rowing, skiing and deadlifting will do me What workout would you want to avoid?
Anything with burpees and the ECHO bike Favourite Crossfit Athlete?
Kevin Koester. A masters crossfit athlete form the US. He’s a good inspiration for keeping fit as you get older and he has a wicked beard. Looks like a totally ripped Santa Claus.
What's the best thing you own that costs under $100?
I think my 20 year old Subaru Forrester is probably worth about $100. It’s a manual which I like and it’s got original cloth seats. Classic.
Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made?
Suede winklepicker boots and a pony tail. No more to say about that.

What's your fav 90s jam?
Anything by Pearll Jam.
What was the last thing you watched on TV?
Fauda on Netflix. A action/thriller/drama about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The funniest thing that happened to you recently?
I saw a patient last week who I thought came to see me about his croaky voice. After I spent 10 minutes telling him how bad his voice sounded he told me he didn’t think that was a problem and he had actually come about his sore throat.
