When, how and why did you get started with us? My passion is kitesurfing. But I used to become a public liability after little time on the water. So I wanted to increase my fitness. Thanks to Dan and Theresa convinced me to try Xfit. That was five years ago. And it has been amazing. Xfit transformed my life. I can kite longer and safer, I completed my first Marathon after six weeks of training, I can pick up other sports easily, I feel 10 years younger. And best of all, I am more confident or less nervous around good-looking people. What would be your dream workout? For time 800 m run – 40 push ups 800 m run - 40 kettlebells 800 m run – 40 air squats 800 m run – 40 toes to bar What workout would you want to avoid? I don’t like wall balls Favourite Crossfit Athlete? (doesn't have to be someone famous) There are several 9:15 ladies that I admire for turning up every day with super performances, not making a fuss about it and showing an outstanding camaraderie. What's the best thing you own that cost under $100? A painting by my best friend. Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made? Dying my hair blue which changed to horrible green – my career as a punk didn’t take off. Favourite quote? Nothing worth having comes easy @ Theodore Roosevelt. What's your fav 90s jam? Smells Like Teen Spirit @ Nirvana – it awakens the failed punk in me. Last thing you watched on TV? Maid @ Netflix – still watching. Nowhere close to my favourites like “The Wire” “Six Feet Under” “Dexter” “GoT” “Vikings”. Funniest thing that happened to you recently? Not really funny: I never played an instrument. My daughter is learning the sax at school. So I thought I could give it a go and practice unnoticed. I bought a mouthpiece and started practicing when home alone. All went well. Until I dropped the sax and had to get it repaired. I had some difficulties explaining myself. Most used emoji? The one with the sunnies If you could have one other CrossFit Claremont members body part, what would it be? There are a few boys with nicely defined latissimus dorsi muscles.
