When, how and why did you get started with us? A friend of mine told me about CrossFit and persuaded me to try instead of doing some stuff on my own at home. This turned out to be a good option. At the time, my house was located right in-between Southern CrossFit and Cooee CrossFit so I did 1 free session in both gyms and join Cooee as my friend was there. 6 months later Cooee CrossFit closed and as I had enjoyed my free session with Jason, I decided to go back and signed up with CCF, it was 6 years ago! What would be your dream workout? Bike, rope & gymnastics (bar or ring) with a bit of strength. Maybe something with bike and pull-ups for time. What workout would you want to avoid? It used to be anything with overhead and deadlift but I have taken the view that I should keep trying and I am “almost” enjoying them now. Favourite Crossfit Athlete? Conor Blycha for his persistence and dedication at such a young age! What's the best thing you own that cost under $100? An apron, I wear it for everything … all my clothes are thanking it. Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made? It would be really hard to choose one out of so many as I am colour blind. I did buy a lot of pink jumpers and shirt thinking that they were grey. Same for brown and green, no need to add more details Favourite quote? Control the things you can control, and ignore everything else. What's your fav 90s jam? Homework album from Daft Punk Last thing you watched on TV? Squid game on Netflix. Funniest thing that happened to you recently? A few weeks ago, my son was asked to answer a few questions for school and one of them was “what is dad very good at?” Both my daughter and him were very quick to answer that I was the best “butt wiper” ever! Most used emoji? Wink face. If you could have one other CrossFit Claremont member body part, what would it be? Where should I start… Okay Lane’s body would do.
