When, how and why did you get started with us? I joined CFC about 5 years ago when Cooee closed down. A number of us were keen to keep training, and so checked out CFC - we liked the vibe, they weren’t too overwhelmed by the group, and the rest as they say is history. What would be your dream workout? Back squats or deadlifts with some rowing and bike erg thrown in. What workout would you want to avoid? The rig is my kryptonite (pull-ups !!!), oh and a solid set of double-unders still evades me. Favourite Crossfit Athlete? (doesn't have to be someone famous) Tia-Clair Toomey – incredible all-round athlete. Waiting to see if she competes in bobsled for the winter games.
What's the best thing you own that cost under $100? My YETI insulated coffee cup.
Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made?
Perm. It was the 80’s, but what was I thinking?

What's your fav 90s jam? So much to choose from. The Verve’s ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ has always been a fav. Last thing you watched on TV? Have you been paying attention Funniest thing that happened to you recently? I had to cancel a restaurant booking when our friends needed to change the date. Some other friends ended up in Perth that weekend, and asked us out for dinner. They made the plans . . . turns out we went to exactly the same restaurant, same time as our original booking!! Most used emoji? 😊 If you could have one other CrossFit Claremont members body part, what would it be? I’d love to be able to master the bar, so perhaps arm/lat combination of Mel/Claire as they always make it look so easy!
