When how and why did you get started with us?
I started at Cooee in 2014 after being encouraged by a couple of friends Lisa and Michelle. Then after Cooee closed, I moved to CFC after trying different gyms. I was really pleased when we moved back to the showgrounds as it is such a great space.
What would be your dream workout?
Anything that I can do without scaling.
What workout would you want to avoid?
450 lunges. Done it once, never again!
Favourite Crossfit Athlete?
Fabulous Fran. She is not famous but a living legend!
What's the best thing you own that costs under $100? My phone case.
Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made?
I am sure there are few, but my earliest memory is from when I was in grade 4. I had an American friend who had a Halloween party. Now Halloween did not exist in Perth in the mid 70’s. I wore the only costume I had, my ballet costume, which was clearly not very Halloween. I probably didn’t even ask my mum for a Halloween costume; you couldn’t buy one anyway and you couldn’t google “what can an 8 year old wear to a Halloween party?”.
Favourite quote?
“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. Keep saying this to myself after a Crossfit workout.
What's your fav 90s jam?
Anything from Jamiroquai.
Last thing you watched on TV?
Sex Education, with my daughter. I have had to cover her eyes and block her ears a few times.
Funniest thing that happened to you recently? My husband and I recently took the dog for a walk at City Beach and when we arrived, we both asked each other “did you bring the lead?” No! I did not want to turn around and go home so I scoured the car looking to improvise a lead. I made one from making a chain of green doggie bags!

If you could have one other CrossFit Claremont members body part, what would it be?
It’s not a body part but I would love to have Christina’s strength, flexibility, and gracefulness. She makes it look easy.
