When, how and why did you get started with us? When Cooee Crossfit closed and Cynthia was sick at the end of 2016 a bunch of us were working out in garage gyms and looked like going our separate ways. Sasha was keen to keep us together for Cyn’s sake and offered to “interview” potential new Crossfit options for us. What would be your dream workout? Dream workout would be at 9.15am, NOT be an AMRAP, contain some sort of cardio and mandatory split jerks and of course coffee afterwards! What workout would you want to avoid? Don’t think I’d be rushing to do the Burpee Triathlon again. I still had a headache at 10pm!
Favourite Crossfit Athlete? Since last week its Coach Hannah after I drew her in the Key Party 2.0. 80kg ground to overhead, no problem. What's the best thing you own that cost under $100? Merino wool sports socks. You don’t get that soggy pinched toe feeling like cotton socks. Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made? My children love to rib me for the bowl haircuts my brother sister and I had as kids. Mum still has the yearly school photos displayed in her kitchen. Favourite quote? Variety is the spice of life.
What's your fav 90s jam? I had to google to pin point 90’s music! I don’t mind a bit of everything from the 90's Last thing you watched on TV? I’ve been watching The Bachelor, obviously not for the intellectual stimulation!
Funniest thing that happened to you recently? I guess it would be going for the egg catch during the Key Party. Catch number 28 at full overhead stretch the egg hit my hand dead centre and cracked over my head much to everyone else’s amusement. My hair was nice and shiny the next day though. Most used emoji? Laughing crying face If you could have one other CrossFit Claremont members body part, what would it be?
Whatever it is that makes Nat a good rower. Don’t suppose I can get a transplant though!
